The Khyree Jackson Memorial Scholarship honors the life of Khyree Jackson and ensures his legacy continues to inspire future generations by providing opportunities to young athletes and students from his alma mater, Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School.

This $2,000 college scholarship is awarded to a Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School senior planning to attend a junior college (JUCO) or a four-year college or university.

Recipients demonstrate core values Khyree lived by and were key to his success: faith, determination, humility, perseverance, and authenticity.

In partnership with Players Coalition, this scholarship covers registration and travel fees for students looking to attend the Black Student Athlete Summit—the nation’s premier event for student-athletes and professionals in collegiate athletics.

Participants engage in career development sessions, financial literacy workshops and wellness activities designed to prepare them for life beyond sports.

Khyree’s Locker of Hope is an initiative that honors Khyree’s legacy by providing sports equipment and school supplies to underserved children. Inspired by Khyree’s locker in the Minnesota Vikings locker room, Khyree’s Locker of Hope is a traveling memorial locker filled with donated supplies, sporting goods and the spirit of a young man who believed in the power of sports to transform lives. 

Khyree's parents, Ebbony and Raymond, take the locker into underserved neighborhoods in Minnesota and Maryland where children can take the gear and supplies they need to play and dream big.

Khyree’s love for the game and belief in himself started long before the spotlight, and it’s that same joy and confidence we want to bring to every child we reach. Through our free youth football camp, young athletes learn the fundamentals and build confidence, surrounded by mentors who believe in them.

Khy Day is a community celebration in memory of Khyree. Each year around his birthday, we come together to honor his life by giving back in ways that reflect his spirit, including college scholarships, free school supplies, free haircuts, and more. It’s a day rooted in love, connection and the kind of impact that lasts long after loss.
